Het bestaansrecht van Meet-Inn beschouwen wij als een diaconale opdracht,
geïnitieerd door de participerende kerken. Dankzij deze participanten kan Meet-Inn haar protestants-christelijke identiteit waarborgen. Het bestaan van Meet-Inn wordt geïnspireerd door ons gezamenlijk geloof in God.
Meet-Inn wil vanuit Zijn liefde de kwetsbare mens een thuis bieden. Praten over God en het evangelie mag, maar moet niet. Het gaat in Meet-Inn meer om een grondhouding en uitstraling die zijn gericht op: een warm hart voor de gasten, dienstbare betrokkenheid en hoop die doet leven.
